Great Aunt Lucy Arrives

Everyone loves when those sweet Aunties come for a visit.  Especially the ones that have never married, but loves children.  If you are luckily enough to be a nice or nephew...or even a cousin of a niece or nephew then see Great Aunt Lucy visiting is a BIG thing.

Now Aunt Lucy is a quilter....and everyone in her family as well as many dear friends own one of her quilts..... this are so amazing ....without further a-due, her is "Our Lucy"


 Lucy is a dear, and kind grandmotherly type. She comes 

with a removable quilt, and glasses
Lucy has a way of being a good listener. People are drawn to 

her for advice and guidance. When she is thinking...up goes her glasses!


She is always making a quilt...and this one is for her great 

nephew BooBoo, whom was just born this past week.


She loves the feel of a needle between her fingers...she 

loves alway having something to do.



Now look at the sweet face. It is the sweetest face I ever created. Lucy took 20 hours to make, and she turned out beautiful


Lucy's paws and glasses can be moved and posed. Her shawl 

and skirt (both which she made herself, cause Lucy is like that) are felted on.


Lucy quilt is amazing....but she has no one to really talk to 

about quilting...so it was decided that Lucy is going to Arizona, 

to live with a special lady, who will talk to Lucy about quilting 

until the cows come home. Lucy will even get to go to some 

Quilting Quilds... We will miss her...but she will visit from time to 

time...like all great Aunts do!


This Lucy's favorite way to quilt....right on her little lap.

She uses her toes to help hold it, because she is a mouse!


Once Lucy use to have the lovely strawberry blond 

hair...but now it is filled with wonderful white hair, with 

just a few streaks of her younger hair left.
